Materials used in the textile industry are responsible for a significant part of the climate footprint. Our number one priority has always been to choose materials that lead to a smaller environmental footprint while protecting both wildlife and humans.

We consider the fabric we use as more sustainable as it is made with renewable and recyclable sources, it uses less water, energy and chemicals in its production process. Moreover, its production process directly contributes to cleaning both the oceans and land from plastic.

After one year of research to find the most sustainable material, ECONYL seemed like the obvious choice. This amazing material is regenerated nylon made of waste, which can be recycled and recreated again, again, and again !

The sources used to produce ECONYL are various: old carpets destined for landfills, fishing nets, pre-consumer waste such as fabric straps, plastic components and industrial waste.

Thanks to you and this process, we are able to salvage ocean plastic and waste, and reintroduce it into a new product cycle.

The materials we use and the suppliers we are working with are certified by:

Oeko-Tex, which guarantees an eco-responsible use of textiles.

ISO 14001 Standard, which sets the standards for robust environmental systems.

GRS (Global Recycled Standard), which enforces the use of eco-responsible materials.
